Sub Inspector, another suspended

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has directed to suspend Devender, Sub Inspector and IO posted at Police Station Bas in district Hisar for not filing challan on time in a case of violation of the PC-PNDT and MTP Acts.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister has directed to issue show cause notice to Commissioners, Municipal Corporations Gurugram and Faridabad for delay in disposal of complaints received at CM Window.

This was informed by Rakesh Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, while presiding over review meeting with all Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police and other senior officers of the districts through video conferencing, here.

While reviewing the CM Window, he appreciated the works done by districts Nuh, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar, besides appreciating the improvements made in district Jind and Panipat.

He said that a weekly system should be made for complaints received at CM Window so that these complaints could be disposed of at the earliest.

Gupta also said that for this, a new team could be constituted at district level.

In a case of misuse of government’s fund in Panipat, Gupta directed the Deputy Commissioner concerned to investigate the case and if anyone is guilty, FIR should be got registered against him.

Similarly in case of embezzlement of Rs 20 crore in district Sonipat, he directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate the matter. He also directed Rewari Deputy Commissioner to redress the cases related to unauthorised towers.

Gupta also asked the Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa to issue charge sheet within one week in case of irregularities committed by Junior Engineer and Clerk. Similarly, in a case of district Yamunanagar, he directed the DC to investigate and dispose of the case.

Reviewing the PC-PNDT and MTP Acts, he appreciated the efforts made by districts Sirsa and Sonipat.

It was informed that 27 raids were conducted in Sirsa including raids at Uttar Pradesh. Gupta cautioned Krishnan Kumar of Rewari that he has not been working as per the provisions of the Act and has been informing wrong facts.

He directed Kumar to mend his ways till next meeting else action would be initiated against him.

Gupta said that districts namely Ambala, Nuh, Bhiwani, Faridabad and Karnal would have to raise the level of  their efforts. He asked the officers of Health Department posted in districts Panchkula, Jind, Palwal, Panipat, Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Jhajjar and Fatehabad to conduct regular raids in their districts under PC-PNDT and MTP Acts and play significant role towards making Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan a success.

Gupta further said that De-addiction Centres are being established in the state.

He further directed the officers to nab those involved in selling drugs to put a check on this menace.
