Teacher’s Day celebrated at Campion School

Teacher’s Day was celebrated here on Wednesday by the Campionites with full zeal and enthusiasm at Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal.

The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp by Chief Guests and Guests of honour Principal Fr Athnas Lakra SJ, Superior and Manager Fr Christdhari kujur SJ, along with vice Principal Fr Amritlal Toppo SJ, Headmistress Sister Lily D’Souza AC, Bursar Fr Ashok along with Sr Cresentia HC, Sister Chitra AC and Senior Teacher and School Management Member Mahendra Kothari.

The day programme started with giving a tribute to Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan with Welcome Song &  Prayer Service Song “Lord I lift your on high”, “God bless you teachers” by Primary & secondary  students. Greeting song “We care for you teachers” was sung by the students of the Primary Section.

The Student’s Rock Band Group just rocked the stage with their performance in Orchestra. Filler Beat Boxing and A true Comedy Skit “Chuho ki Dawat“written by Rabindranath Tagore was one of the major attractions of the day. Girls’ students present their dance on the song “Ghumar” whereas students from IXth class,  XIth and XIIth presents their dance in different Bollywood songs and style. Fusion dance and Hip-Hop dance, Jugalbandi between Tabla and Rock band was awesome. Students showcased their ability with accuracy flexibility and good coordination. Scintillating programmes by students marked the Teachers’ Day celebrations, organised at school Lots of cultural programme was presented by students.

The school management also felicitated the senior teacher Hemlata Deshmukh from Secondary Section; honoured through a Memento given by Principal Fr Athnas Lakra SJ, for her contribution in the field of education in Campion school from last twenty five 25 years of services.
