I did not have a definite belief in Numerology but used to read about the various numbers (from 1 to 9) which are based on the date of one’s birth. Over a period of time I also tried assessing people based on their numbers. Reading the nature of a person in the context of these numbers can be quite interesting as one deciphers similarities among people having the same number.
As I am a great fan of Hindi films (especially the older films) I came to realise that four stars, one of them a Superstar, whom I admire greatly all fall under the amazing Number 2 of Numerology! It was a great revelation to me when I realised that all these famous film stars — Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan — were born on dates that made them Number 2s.Surely, there was something about this number which they shared which was related to their larger — than-life personalities. As I am a number 2 myself, my interest in studying their journey increased. The great Dilip Kumar was born on December 11, 1922 .So, according to numerology, one plus one becomes two here. He is the first of the great number 2s. Twenty years after him were born two stars who would shine brilliantly on the screen. One of them would shine for decades and the other, born two months after him in 1942, would be like a very special star that rises for a short period but blazes the skies with its brightness forever. I am talking about the star of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan (born on October 11, 1942) and Superstar Rajesh Khanna (born on December 29, 1942). Two plus nine is 11 and then again, the same formula-one plus one.
After these three Number 2s was born the Khan who would enter the film industry in the year 1992. Shah Rukh Khan or “King Khan” was born on November 2, 1965.He was the one who had as his date of birth the very clear and basic Number 2 which does not require any additions of numbers. He along with Big B, is shining since the time he was first seen on the screen.
When I reflected upon what is it that is common to these four great actors and stars, I could think of their refined manner, gentleness, sensitivity, a magnetic charm, grace and sophistication. Bejan Daruwalla, the famous astrologer, says that number 11 (under which Dilip Sa’ab and Bachchan ji were born) is a master number. “People who are born on this number dominate by sheer strength of their personality…not necessarily by great intelligence; their personality has some magnetic and dynamic appeal.”
Nobody can deny there is an abundance of this appeal in these actors. Many actors, besides these four, have seen success in the industry .However, what these “Great Four” have experienced goes far beyond just success. They are icons, idols and also ideals as far as their fans are concerned. They are figures that command adulation beyond bounds and will always be regarded as a class of actors who set new trends and, with the intensity of their personalities, brought something to the silver screen that enriched our lives, our emotions and our experience. Number 2s are people who inspire others to move in a specific direction.
Their presence is galvalnising. One thing that stands out in the description of Number Two in all numerology books is INTUITION. The Number 2s are driven by a keen intuition rather than reason. This makes their thoughts and actions quite dramatic. Number 2 is “the silent-knower, calm, just, intuitively aware, a peace-maker.” The ruling planet of Number 2 is the Moon .The High Priestess Tarot Card is symbolic of the energy of Number 2. When it comes to the negative traits, Number 2s can be indecisive, pessimistic and live in a fantasy world. Numerologists say that many times, No. 2s revel in their own dreams and therefore shun society. They do not enjoy the company of others as they find them too ordinary for their imaginary world. “They love nature passionately and take pleasure in spending hours in the company of the high tides of the sea or in reverting their eves to the galaxy of the stars in the sky”.
Many a times, we notice a similarity in some roles played by Dilip Kumar, Amitabh and Shah Rukh. Does this have to do something with their being Number 2IJ I often wonder .We see a reflection of one in the other. As far as Rajesh Khanna is concerned, his intuition and sensitivity gave him the uniqueness that made people think of a new word — “Superstar”. His expressive eyes almost hypnotised people and made them (especially women) absolutely crazy about him. His magnetic presence on the screen casts a spell on anyone who watches his films even today. He was truly a heart-stealer. Was all this due to his being a Number 2IJ Whether this is a mere coincidence or has something to do with numerology, I cannot say. However, these four wonderful stars do have these characteristics that are associated by numerologists with Number 2. They all became Number One in the industry after being born as Number 2. So here, Number 2 proved a winner all the way!
