Three-day State level badminton championship begins at lohardaga

Three days long State level martyr Pandey Ganpat Ray Memorial Badminton Championship was jointly inaugurated by the DC Binod Kumar, MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat, Rakesh Prasad, head of 20 point programme, MP  Chandrashekhar Prasad and district council president Sunaina Kumari.

On the occasion the DC Binod Kumar said, “Players learns the spirit of cooperation by the games and sports. They must play honestly and try to perform best in the events.”

MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat said, “The players are getting a good opportunity to prove them best in their field. They can brighten their future in games.”

The SP Rajkumar lakra said, “The games and sports strengthen the players mentally and physically.” The occasion was also addressed by Chandrashekhar Agarwal; district council head Sunaina Kumari, district Badminton association head Dr Ganesh Prasad. Before it the introduction was done by the CO lohardaga Anurag Tiwary. The students of Ursuline teachers’ training college and Divine Spark’s Public school performed the cultural programmes. The thanks speech was delivered b y the SDO Raj Maheshwaram. The competitions were started at circuit house Raghu Toli. The first match was played between Jagriti Kumari of East Singhbhum and Shivani Gupta of lohardaga. The second match was played between Shanufa Kumari from Ranchi and Parjal Kumari from Giridih.
