Two houses were targeted at BDA colony under Koh-e-Fiza and valuables worth lakhs of rupees were burgled on Monday; family members had gone to attend a function when the incidents were reported.
The victim who is a sugar trader and his elder brother along with their families have gone to Jabalpur to attend a marriage on December 13 while one family had gone to America on November 1 and on Monday their house was found burgled.
After the victim came to know a complaint was lodged by his relative Dr Atul Singhai who lives in BDA Colony and works in Chirayu hospital and in his complaint he stated that is uncles Ashok Singhai (sugar trader) and Jinesh Singhai live with their families in first and ground floor of the two story building respectively. Jinesh along with his family is in America from November while Ashok along with his wife and other family members went to Jabalpur on December 13 to attend a marriage ceremony.
In the morning on Monday Jugal Kishore who works as driver for Jinesh spotted that the doors were open and locks are broken. Family members were informed and on the receipt a Ashok returned Bhopal he found that miscreants have disconnected wires of the CCTV cameras. Gold and silver jewelleries worth Rs 7 lakh from his home and valuables worth Rs 8 lakh from his elder brother Jinesh's flat were taken away. Case registered on the basis of the complaint.
