Valuables worth Rs 75K burgled from railway official’s home

Valuables worth Rs  75000 were burgled from Gaytari Nagar under Bajaria police station area on Sunday.

According to the police, the victim Purshottam Das Patel who is railway employee is posted in Satna was at work while family had gone to attend funeral in Satna on November 8 and when on return on they on Sunday they found that the valuables were missing.

A complaint was made by the victim with the Bajaria police and in the complaint the victim had claimed that on return family members found that the locks were broken and on entering the house was found ransacked. Gold jewelry and garments worth Rs  75000 were found missing.

In the burglary the almirah which was having the valuables was targeted and the other valuables were not disturbed. The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, valuables worth Rs 85000 were burgled from Chouksey Nagar under Eitkhedi police station area on Sunday.

The victim, Manoj Singh Parihar, had gone for some work on and when he returned on Saturday the lock was found broken and on entering the house valuables were found burgled. The total loss was around Rs  85000 claimed the victim.

The police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and started further investigation.

In another incident, valuables worth Rs  25000 were stolen from scooter at Nadeem road    under Kotwali police station area on Monday.

Police said that the victim Seema Singh kept her purse over the scooter and was buying sandals during which purse was stolen. Kotwali police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and started further infestation.
