The Women and Child Development (WCD) Department has not yet received the Vigilance inquiry report in respect of procurement of dal during the period of Pramila Mallick as Minister of the department.
WCD and Mission Shakti Minister Prafulla Samal informed this in the State Assembly in response to a question of MLA Damodar Rout on Friday.
Rout had wanted to know the fate of Vigilance enquiry in respect of procurement of dal during Pramila Mallick’s period as WCD Minister and why it was not tabled in the House yet.
Putting that the Chief Minister had committed for a Vigilance enquiry in the House, Rout had also mentioned in his question that he had learnt that the Vigilance enquiry was completed and reports submitted to Government in 2012.
