The winter session of the Vidhan Sabha is likely to be held in mid December, said the Assembly speaker Premchand Agrawal.
Talking to media persons, the Vidhan Sabha speaker said necessary arrangements are in place to hold the session.
On being asked about whether the winter session of the assembly will be held in Dehradun or at Gairsain in Bharadisain, the speaker said that necessary arrangements are in place at both the locations.
“Wherever the state government decides to hold the winter session- in Dehradun or at Gairsain- we are prepared for it.”
“This winter session is likely to be a bit long. We have already held long Vidhan Sabha sessions at Gairsain too so in case the coming session in held there, we will not face problems as the arrangements are nearly complete there too.”
Regarding his directions during the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha to cabinet ministers, asking them to come prepared properly to answer queries, he said that all the points had been sent to the government.
One expects that the cabinet ministers will come fully prepared to provide satisfactory answers to the questions raised during the winter session of the assembly, he added.
