In a horrific incident, near about 70 shanties located at a slum in National Capital’s Rohini were gutted after a fire broke out on Saturday.
According to a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) senior official, the incident took place on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
“We have received a call about fire at 12.18 am and 14 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was brought under control by 4.40 am,” said the senior official of DFS.
