Child’s healthy growth needs love

The way one is brought up during early childhood has a long lasting influence on a being’s personality frame up. The children remain witness to all that would be going around, even if that doesn’t relate to them. They may not understand as to what is happening in real terms. They, however, are quite sensitive and receptive and can intuitively have a sense of good and bad; pleasant and unpleasant; love and hatred; anger and frustration. Accordingly, they pick up positive and negative emotions from the environment. At their age, their mind remains uncluttered. So, they have enough of empty mind-space to store a baggage full of inputs. Unfiltered, these impressions get into the inner realms of their raw mind. That shapes the mind and psyche of a child, which given a small trigger, spontaneously play out even much later in life.

In case of over sensitive children, it has been experienced that even during their infant stage, they often behave in an unpredictable way when faced with unpleasant environmental condition. In one such case, an infant used to cry nonstop whenever his parents were quarreling. No amount of pampering could soften the child for hours together. After intensive probing, a pediatrician marked this phenomenon, and accordingly counselled his parents to behave properly particularly in his presence. The irony, however, is that the parents and other family members caught up in their ego trip, often lose their sense of reason. They seldom care that their child would be watching their unseemly conduct. They don’t realise that unmindfully though, but they corrupt child’s mind-state.

Experience suggests that in majority of cases of those suffering from some short of mental disorder, had a very unpleasant childhood. A sense of fear and insecurity develops in minds of children faced with a turbulent domestic atmosphere. A male child deprived of mother’s love, or a girl child lacking father’s care, end up having serious personality imbalance. Such children grow with a sense of want and deprivation deeply ingrained in their mind, which reflects later in their usual conduct.

Recently, someone came looking for what is in store of his young son’s destiny, whose abnormal mind-trends was bothering him too much. The young man’s astrological chart bares open his state of affairs. Evidently, my study began with a look at his mind-signifying Moon, which occupies a dual sign Sagittarius, and is conjunct Neptune. This speaks of a wavering mind not able to reason out things properly in as much as that his indiscrete ill-timed reactions may put him off with others. He may remain stuck to his self-delusional perceptions, distanced from ground realities, and being subject to unpredictable mood swings.  Also, he would be habitually an escapist, not keen to take challenges in life.

Here again, Moon happens to be the 4th lord identified with mother and domestic atmosphere, which is conjunct Saturn, the planet of its nemesis.  It, in the first place, is indicative of a disturbed home. Second, he would be deprived of motherly love. Third, he may have a doubting negative mind, habitually suspicious of one and all. Fourth, he may nurse a sense of victimhood. On top of that Moon is involved in unholy exchange of zodiac signs with Jupiter, the 9th lord identified with father. It clearly implies parental separation, which must have been preceded by long drawn confrontation.

The fellow could not digest all these and developed inferiority complex. For, Neptune is locked in unholy relationship with Mars, the lagna lord, the prime-mover of the young man. More so, because of his Aries lagna where its lord Mars is firmly placed, which happens to be the most volatile sign of natural zodiac. This by itself is enough to make out an impulsive, aggressive, rash, impatient, intolerant, domineering and demanding character. He will wish to be in command of things. All the more, because the Sun, which is marked with individual identity is ill-disposed off to Jupiter.

That points to his swaggering ego, out of touch with reality, stuck to his self-defined dos and don’ts, and not open to look beyond for the right lead. It is also indicative of a sluggish liver, which makes him vulnerable to being short of energy. If all that was not enough, even intelligence signifying Mercury, is conjunct Neptune, which accounts for his insensible reasoning and judgment. And the result is there to see.

To sum up, the parents and family members should bring up their children with love and utmost care to ensure their healthy growth.
