It was a humid day in the national capital even as light rains lashed parts of the city.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal while the minimum temperature settled at 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, a MeT official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 91 and 63 per cent. Traces of rainfall were recorded during the afternoon.
The weatherman has forecast cloudy skies for Saturday morning and light rains or thundershower towards evening.
"The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 34 degrees Celsius," the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 24 degrees Celsius.
