Anushka hopes to save tigers

Actress Anushka Sharma has joined hands with Discovery channel to promote a global awareness movement to save tigers from extinction. She will soon be promoting Project C.A.T: Conserving Acres for Tigers, aimed at raising awareness on tiger habitats. Says she, “Tigers, the glorious wild cats, are in real danger of getting extinct and they need our help. As a large predator, tigers are an umbrella species and play a critical role in ensuring that the delicate ecological balance in the wild is maintained. The current situation is a sad reflection of us as human beings.”

Actors Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra, who are in the capital to shoot for their next film The Sky is Pink, are battling the city's pollution levels with masks. Farhan uploaded a picture on Instagram in which both the actors are seen wearing anti-pollution masks. “Masking our emotions in the Delhi air. Priyanka Chopra, your pose is just,” he captioned. Priyanka commented: “Arre Delhi... what has happened to you?”

Priyanka shared a photograph of herself basking sun. “The sun and I.. Delhi here we go.”

Miley, Butler lose house in wildfire

Hollywood celebrities Miley Cyrus and Gerard Butler have completely lost their homes in the raging California wildfire, which has left filmmaker Guillermo del Toro's home partially damaged.

Cyrus said, “Completely devastated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and love of my life made it out safely and that's all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family and friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left.”
