Remote Operating Station (ROS) Visakhapatnam noticed smoke emanating from a Merchant Ship (Offshore Supply Vessel-Coastal Jaguar) on Monday at 11:30 am which was operating 1.5 Nautical Milesoff Visakhapatnam harbour. Indian Coast Guard Ship Rani Rashmoni in coordination with Tug Sindhu and Port Utility Boat rescued 27 crew of Merchant Ship(OSV Coastal Jaguar). Some of the crew rescued have sustained injuries and have been admitted in Visakhapatnam Port Hospital. One body has been recovered by the Port Utility Boat and search for 01 missing crew is in progress

Punjab National Bank has already reduced its one year MCLR by 10 bps w.e.f  August 1, 2019 in anticipation of Policy rate cut by Reserve Bank of India. Its one year MCLR presently is 8.30% which is one of the lowest in the industry. Chittaranjan locomotive Works (CLW) on Monday flags off its the 100th Electric locomotive of the year 2019-20 from its Electric Loco Assembly & Ancillary Unit at Dankuni near Kolkata. Praveen Kumar Mishra, General  Manager dedicated this locomotive to the service of the Nation by ceremonially flagging off from the Dankuni Unit.
