CTET 2019 dates announced; registration begins on Aug 19
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on December 8, 2019. The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages in 110 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulleting containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in from 19-08-2019.
Mahesh Verma joins as new V-C of IP
New Delhi: The renowned prosthodontist Prof. Mahesh Verma took over as the new Vice Chancellor of the IP University here today. Before joining Prof. Verma was Director of the prestigious Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Delhi. Prof. Verma turned the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences from an ordinary dental school into a Centre of Excellence by his able guidance and administration, now deemed as the best dental school of India.
NHPC celebrates Independence Day
Faridabad: NHPC Limited and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day with great fervour on Thursday. Balraj Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC unfurled National flag at NHPC Office Complex, Faridabad. Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Personnel), MK Mittal, Director (Finance) and Janardan Choudhary, Director (Technical) were also present on the occasion alongwith other senior NHPC officers and their family members.

GAIL Scrabble Cup tourney begins
New Delhi: Word enthusiasts from India and abroad will vie for top honours in the 6th GAIL Scrabble Cup 2019 to be held from 16th to 18th August, 2019 in New Delhi. Being hosted by Scrabble Association of Delhi under the aegis of Scrabble Association of India, the global body WESPA will be rating this tournament, which will see a participation from over 70 players, including most of the top 10 Indian players and other international players from South-East Asian Countries.
