Tech Mahindra bags Rs 500 cr Smart City project

New Delhi: Tech Mahindra Ltd. a leading provider of digital transformation, consulting and business reengineering services and solutions, announced today its largest smart city project worth Rs 500 crore from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), Asia’s richest municipal corporation. Through this project, Tech Mahindra will engage with more than 15 lakh citizens of PCMC by enabling technology-led transformation to convert it into a smart and sustainable city. The project will be executed in a period of 1 year implementation and the operations and maintenance for 5 years. It has been budgeted under the Prime Minister’s Smart Cities mission. As part of its largest Smart City project, Tech Mahindra will provide a robust, reliable and sustainable ICT (Information and Communication Tehcnology) infrastructure, comprising of smart, technological solutions including City Network, Smart Water, Smart Sewerage, Smart Traffic, Smart Parking, Smart Environment, CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) Surveillance, Integrated Control and Command Center, Data Center and Disaster Recovery center etc. Tech Mahindra would also help in enabling real-time data management, alerts, and information processing to support city’s administration.

Dda empanelled 4 GIS Survey firms

New Delhi: In order to accord ownership rights to over 50 lakh residents of 1731 unauthorized colonies in Delhi in a time bound manner under PM-Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana (PM-Uday) Scheme, the Delhi Development Authority has empanelled 4 GIS Survey firms namely-Geokno India, Aerosurvey Pvt Ltd, DSR Surveys and Geoid Consultancy. The residents can contact these firms for getting their geo coordinates and key plan after registering on the portal. The DDA has already opened the Portal for registration by the residents of unauthorised colonies for conferment of ownership rights. Residents of these colonies are advised to register themselves on www.delhi.ncog.gov.in by providing basic information. After registering on the portal, applicants are advised to contact the GIS Survey firms, who will come at their location to prepare geo coordinates and key plan, Thereafter, GIS firm will upload geo cordinates and key plan on the DDA’s portal. After uploading the data, geo coordinate ID will be generated, which will be given to the applicants by the GIS. The ID must be entered by the applicants while filling up the application forms. The names of the concerned GIS agencies corresponding to the name of unauthorized colonies have been uploaded in the DDA’s website under PM UDAY link.
