Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., the country’s central transmission utility and a Navratna PSU, has declared an interim dividend of Rs 5.83 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the Financial Year 2018-19.
Power Grid handed over electronic payment remittance advice for payment of Rs 1629.62 cr to Government of India.
The total interim dividend disbursed is to the tune of Rs 3050.02 cr to about 5.91 lakh shareholders. During FY 18-19, the total dividend paid including final dividend for FY 17-18 is Rs 4514.86 cr which is 1.48 times the total dividend paid in FY 17-18.
Power Grid is one of the world’s largest power transmission utility, and has a wide network of 151,507 circuit kilometers transmission lines, with 239 Sub-stations and transformation capacity of 355,029MVA.
