Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday travelled by road from Jharkhand to Purulia to address a rally there after the Mamata Government denied permission for landing his helicopter in the State.
He accused Mamata of trying to protect a “corrupt” officer and said there could be nothing more “shameful and unconstitutional” than a CM staging a sit-in to prevent “secrets related to corruption” from spilling out. Yogi accused Mamata of exploiting the poor in West Bengal and not allowing benefits of Central schemes to reach them.
