Every household has ginger. Yes, this underground stem is a cure for many problems including a stomachache. Grate an inch of ginger and extract its juice. Apply this on the aching tummy and massage in circular motion to get relief from the pain. One can also drink a glass of warm water with crushed mint leaves and ground ginger root to bring instant relief.
It may sound strange but this is water we give to babies when they have an upset tummy. Drink the left over rice water to get rid of upper stomach pain.
