Seasonal allergies are common but a cause of irritation for those who suffer from it. ROSHANI DEVI tells you how one can deal with them with simple and useful condiments found in your kitchen

There are many people out there who suffer from  indoor or outdoor allergies like pollen and dust mites especially with the changes in season. Itchy eyes, wheezing and sneezing are common symptoms.

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most common item found in kitchens. It can help reduce mucous production and cleanse the lymphatic system. If possible swallow a tablespoon of it otherwise add a tablespoon to a cup of hot water with a small bit of honey and drink it.

Honey is another item found is most households. However, a tablespoon or two  will not immediately have the desired effect but taken over time, will show results.

Sometimes allergies are a result of poor immune system. Probiotics give the system the much needed boost. A good source of probiotics is kimchi.

Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits like grapes, apples, oranges, and tomatoes. A healthy diet is good for your whole body.

There was a reason why our grandparents insisted that we leave our shoes at the door and wash our hands and feet before entering the house. Each time you walk into your home, you bring small pieces of the outside world with you. Take a shower and change your clothes to wash away any allergens.
