Open pores on the face can be problematic; more so if one has an oily skin. It makes the skin look dull and aged. ROSHANI DEVI shares home remedies that can reduce them

Are you tired of the open pores on your face? Besides making the skin look dull, it can be the cause of rashes. While there are several products available in the market, they are expensive. However, a few simple ingredients in your kitchen can help reduce the pores.

Honey: Apply it on the pore zone on the face. leave it on for 15 minutes. First, rinse it with lukewarm water and then cool water. Honey contains astringent which will make the skin look healthy and tighten the pores.

One can use sugar as well. Take a tablespoon of brown sugar and honey and mix it with a teaspoon of lemon juice. Clean the face with water and gently scrub this mixture for five minutes. Rinse face with warm water.

Besan: Take a tablespoon of gram flour, a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a tablespoon of yogurt and few drops of olive oil

Mix all the ingredients to get a paste.  Apply this on the face. leave it on for 15-20 minutes

Rinse face with cool water and apply a moisturiser.
