For all those people who have not been following this hero from Dholakpur who loves to eat laddoo and gets his powers from this mithai, Chhota Bheem Kung Fu Dhamaka is the fourth movie. The first three in the order: Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan (2012), Chhota Bheem and the Throne of Bali (2013) and Chhota Bheem: Himalayan Adventure (2016). Such is the fan following for Bheem by toddlers and over the years, over 25 movies that were made just for TV.
What makes these movie fun to watch besides the adventure that the friends go on, there is fun, frolic and laughter. The antics by Kalia and Dholu and Bholu, his two minions will crack up adults as well.
In Kung Fu Dhamaka, the friends find themselves in China and go on a mission to save Princess Kia. It is good to see Kalia fully clothed instead of the usual langot that he otherwise favours.
The quality of the animation has somewhat improved even though we have a long way to go before we can be compare ourselves with Hollywood releases. But it is good to see that an effort has been put.
The summer holidays are round the corner and it is time to treat your toddlers to this latest adventure that Bheem and his friends go on.
