Dharohar focusing on tribal dances and traditional cuisine, was inaugurated in Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum on Tuesday. The event was organised Tribal folk arts and dialect development academy of Madhya Pradesh Culture Council.

Arjun Singh Durve (Dindori) along with his fellow performers presented the Karama dance of Baiga tribe to the audience. This dance is performed in the joy of new crop coming. This dance is usually performed on Mandal (musical instrument).
Lakhan Lal, Jodha Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Siddaram and Juglal ??mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills during the dance performance. About 15 artists joined Arjun Singh Durve in this presentation. During the dance performance, Gajru Singh and Shiva Charan on the mandal and Shiv Kumar Durve on Timki and Arjun Singh Durve and Bhagwati collaborated in singing.
Pandit Ram (Surguja), along with his fellow artists, presented the 'Saila dance' of the Rajwar tribe to the audience. Saila dance is performed during the moonlight nights of autumn. It was named Saila due to the poles of about a quarter of a hand.
Saila dance is practiced to please Adidev. It is said that Adi Dev Badhesur went to Amarkantak unhappy with the queen of Surguja, this dance was practiced by cutting the strings there. About 15 artists joined Pandit Ram in this presentation. During the dance performance, Birju Ram, Yutaram, Swatiram and Balasay etc. captivated the audience with their dancing skills. During the presentation, Gangaram collaborated on Mandal, Gobardhan on Timki, Ramesh on Shehnai and Amit on Gudumbaja.
Kailash Sisodia (Dhar) along with his fellow artists presented the 'Bhagoria dance' of the Bhil tribe to the audience. Bhagoria dance of the Bhil tribe, Holi at Bhagoria Haat and other occasions are performed by Bhil youths.
Bhagoria Haats are organized before Holi during the Phagun season. Bhagoria Haat is a meeting of young men and women, not just haats.
It is from here that they come in contact with each other, are attracted and run away to get tied in the life thread, hence these haats are named Bhagoria. In Bhagoria dance, various footsteps, Pali, Chakripali and Pyramid dance postures are the center of attraction. Adorned girls dressed in colorful costumes and dancing in their hands are typical traditional and supernatural designs.
During the dance performance Surla, Kalam Singh, Lalu and Pratap Singh. mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills. Amarsingh on the mandal, Mandia on the dholgi, Dileep on the shehnai and Billam on the plate during the dance performance.
Arjun Singh Durve (Dindori) along with his fellow artists presented the 'Phag dance' of the Baiga tribe to the audience.
This dance is usually performed on the occasion of Holi. During this dance performance, the performers dance by wearing wooden masks. Phag dance is performed for about 13 days after Holi.
