The educational programme 'Do and Learn' organised by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangarahalaya will begin from April 24. The programme is being organised with an aim to introduce participants to various arts of the country.
This year, training will be provided in Traditional Gond Painting (From April 24 to May 1, 2019; Place-Introductory Gallery, TH Open Air Exhibition, IGRMS), Bhil Painting (May 2 to 9, 2019; Place-Introductory Gallery, TH Open Air Exhibition, IGRMS), Sawara Painting of Odisha (May 10 to 17, 2019; Place- Introductory Gallery, TH Open air, IGRMS), Clay Art of Manipur (May 18 to 25, 2019; Place-Modelling Workshop, IGRMS), Clay Modeling (May 26 to June 2, 2019; Place- Modelling Workshop, IGRMS), Tribal Jewelry Making of Bhil tribes (June 3 to 10, 2019; Place-Introductory Gallery, TH Open Air Exhibition, IGRMS), Maandne Painting of Meena Tribe's of Rajasthan (May 12 to 9, 2019; Place-Introductory Gallery, TH Open Air Exhibition, IGRMS) and Digital Photography (May 20 to 27, 2019; Place-Museum Premises).
Under this programme, all the registered participants who are participating in the traditional Gond painting program starting from April 24 will be given training by Gond painter, Ram Singh.
Children from the age group of 8 to 14 years can participate in the programme. The registration form for this programme could be obtained from gate no 1 IGRMS, by paying Rs 10 from April 20.
