‘Final list reported increase of 6.95 per cent of voters’

With the revisions of voters list the final list was reported with an increase of 6.95 per cent of voters in the state, said Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Yadav while speaking with media persons.

The number of voters in earlier Lok Sabha elections 48121301 has reached to 51467980.

The increase in male voters has increased by 5.89 percent and female voters has increased by 7.99 percent.

The striking fact which was shared by Addl CEO Yadav was the increase in third gender voters which was increased by 32.74 percent.

The gender ratio been improved from 902 to 919 from the last Lok Sabha elections.

In the process of revision 30.50 lakh were received under different categories for adding, removing, minor amendments and address change.

The highest number of voters are in Indore parliamentary constituency at 23,17,191 while the lowest number are in Chhindwara a 15,05,267.
