‘Love Ek Tarfa’ staged

When someone falls in love but, what if it is one sided love? The pain of one sided love was showcased in a Hindi play ‘Love Ek Tarfa’. The play was staged at Shaheed Bhavan Auidtorium on Monday.

The play marked the conclusion of three-day theatre fest Samantar Theatre Festival. The fest was all about plays which showcase the reality of society and an individual’s life.

The Hindi play Love Ek Tarfa which was staged on Monday. Directed by Adarsh Sharma, the play was brilliantly performed by the artists of Trikarshi Theatre Troupe Bhopal.

Displaying the ups and down in love life, the pain, the happiness and all of those emotions, a person feels being in love, the play also highlighted the dark truth of society.

It is said that love is one of the best feeling a person can ever have, but what if this feeling turns out to be nightmare. Or what if this feeling brings out the bad instead of good from a person?

Director Adarsh Sharma raising the question, portrayed the grief and pain of one sided love brilliantly.

The play surrounds the life of a young boy. This young boy falls in love with a pretty and beautiful girl. He tries his best to impress her and at last they became friends. He believes that friendship is just one step towards love. But, contradicting his believes, she friend zoned him.

It was not less than a nightmare for him. The rest of the story narrated about how he overcame the pain of Love Ek Tarfa.

Beautifully designed, the play was splendidly performed by the artists. Giving away the message it had, the play was enjoyed by the audience a lot.
