Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday said first time after Independence of the nation any Prime Minister is visiting Lohardaga. “People of Lohardaga are waiting for their PM. They are waiting for the day when Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country again because they want security and development,” said the CM while talking to media persons at Lohardaga on Wednesday.

The CM was in Lohardaga to take stock of the preparations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Lok Sabha constituency on April 24. He said that in Lohardaga constituency its incumbent MP Sudarshan Bhagat’s ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ will destroy all the evil forces and make way for development of the area.

Das further said that in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Latehar’s Saryu, West Singhbhum’s Saranda and Lohardaga’s Peshrar area have undergone a sea change.

“These places did not have electricity, roads and extremism was on its peak four years ago. Now, there is electricity, roads and extremism has vanished from the area. This is due to the efforts of the PM that in the last four and half years 30 lakh houses of the State were electrified. The PM was not oblivious of the fact that out of 68 lakh houses in the State just 38 lakh houses had electricity. Therefore, on the direction of PM the State government had started electrifying remaining 30 lakh houses and completed the work in time,” he added.

The CM further added that several strong decisions were taken after 2014 for development of nation. “People are aware of the matter. They know that schemes for the development of villages, poor persons, farmers and labourers have been largely successful,” he said.

Earlier, holding a meeting with party workers the CM said that the NDA will clinch all 14 seats in the State to make a powerful government at the Centre.

Das also exhorted the party workers to put in their all out efforts to make the party win the polls.  In the meeting BJP’s Organisational Secretary Dharmpal Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Samir Oraon, Mandar MLA Gangotri Kujur, Manika MLA Hare Krishna Singh, Bokaro MLA Biranchi Naryan, Mati Kala Board Chairam Shree Chand Prasad, Om Singh were present.
