‘MP has vast scope for investment’

Reviewing preparations of the Magnificent MP Summit at Indore on Wednesday, the chief secretary SR Mohanty said that there is a vast scope of industrial investment in the State.

Keeping in view the scope, the summit is being organised to attract investors in the State.

He mentioned that the Magnificent MP summit will be focused on real investment. Serious discussions pertaining to investment will be held and efforts will also be made to ensure implementation of the conclusions of the summit. Mohanty has informed that during the summit, important deliberations will take place with the industrialists and industrial houses. He further informed that work to determine department wise industry based policies is going on speedily and its results will reflect in the entire state soon. Mohanty was reviewing the preparations of the summit in Indore on Wednesday.

The Chief Secretary reviewed department wise arrangements in detail about accommodation, transport, security etc. being made for the guests, who would be attending the Magnificent MP Summit.

He told the officials to complete all the works with team spirit and coordination within time limit for the success of the summit.

Property defacement Act should be in force in the city during the summit. Impose restriction on vacation without permission for the officers and employees.

He directed that there should be no lack of any kind in the arrangements and it should be ensured that the guests should not come across with any problem.

Divisional Commissioner Indore Akash Tripathi has informed that preparations at wide scale are being made in Indore for this prestigious event.

All the arrangements according to the dignity of the industrialists and industrial houses will be made within the stipulated time.

There is a celebratory atmosphere for this event in the city. The malls, squares and other prominent spots of the city are being decorated for the grand welcome of the guests.

Tripathi further said that route indicators are being put up at various places for the convenience of the guests. Only competent officers are being deployed at the airport and places of accommodation as well as at every place for proper welcome and assistance of the guests. Movement of trucks on Ujjain Road to MR-10 will be prohibited during the event.

At the event site, proper arrangement is being made for vehicles’ parking of the special guests. A public address system will also be installed at the parking site. Moreover, adequate arrangement of fire brigade and emergency medical will be made at the event site.
