‘Rajiv Gandhi’s role known to all’: BJP

Monday, 13 May 2019 | PNS | Dehradun

The Congress is flummoxed with the Bharatiya Janata Party raising questions at the role of the Congress party and Gandhi family in the Bofors scam and 1984 massacre of Sikhs. This is the reason for the Congress announcing its protest but this will not conceal its wrong deeds, the BJP stated.

The BJP state media in-charge Devendra Bhasin said, “The Congress and Gandhi family are so arrogant that 35 years after the 1984 riots they have not apologised to the Sikhs and the nation. Sam Pitroda apologising for his comment is only a show in view of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

What the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said on the Bofors scam is known to all. Rajiv Gandhi’s involvement in the scam, help provided to the agent Quattrocchi and his involvement in helping Bhopal gas tragedy fugitive Anderson escape from India is also known to all.

Now, when the Congress talks of protest, it is akin to a cruel joke on the people of India.”
