The existence of the red flag has ended from the world, so what is the need of it in Nirsa? The flag of Mother India should be waved here. This is the pride of India. Nirsa needs lotus to improve. All of you should work in blossoming lotus in Nirsa and pave the way for development here.

Das said that the NDA government lead by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is having strong majority in Lok Sabha has taken some historic decisions, which includes abolishing Article 370 of Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir.

 “But the Congress and JMM due to their vote bank politics are talking the language of Pakistan. Time has come to teach these political parties,” added Das.

Das said that the present government in Jharkhand is moving towards making Jharkhand Naxal-free, corruption-free and middleman-free. In the last 5 years, the appointment of 11,000 soldiers and more than 2500 police inspectors will help in making a Naxal-free state.

The Chief Minister highlighting the benefits of double engine Government said that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are getting Rs 6,000 per year.

The advantage of double engine government is that 35 lakh farmers of Jharkhand are also getting benefits of Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana. We have given the first installment under the scheme. The CM said the second installment will be released on 23 October.

Earlier, the CM addressing another public meeting at Dhanbad as part of Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Dhanbad, said, “When I became Chief Minister in 2014, there was a lack of basic facilities including electricity, water, roads. Slowness was also seen at the Government level.

There was a need to improve infrastructure. As the government is committed to improve the infrastructure facilities as they give tax.

The Government has lightened 30 lakh houses where there was no electricity. The Government believes that without power development cannot be imagined. And to strengthened power connections there was requirement of 114 power grids against 31 grids functional in State in 2014.”

Construction of 18 power grids has been completed while the work on 46 grids is at final stage. 350 new sub-stations are being built, out of which work on 120 power sub-station has been completed. The work of 54 will be completed soon.

The Chief Minister, on the occasion, laid the foundation and inauguration of development works worth Rs 10,608 crore.

The inauguration of 16 new power grids and the foundation stone of 16 grids were done on the occasion. Das said, “With the increase in power infrastructure, people in rural areas will get high voltage uninterrupted power supply.”

The Chief Minister said that farmers of the state will get electricity from separate feeder for agricultural work. 174 feeders are being built for agricultural work.

The work of 120 feeders has been completed. Construction of 54 is in final stages. Power plants are being constructed by Godni in Godda. From where the State will get 25 per cent of the electricity produced.
