A 30-year-old man died while his friend escaped with injuries after their bike hit a dog near Piparia Zahir Peer under Sukhisewania police station late in the night on Monday.
Police said that two injured men were rushed to nearby hospital where one of them was declared dead. The deceased was identified as Sitaram Yadav while his friend Bhojraj escaped with injuries.
The deceased and his friend were on their way to Mandideep. The deceased sustained multiple injuries. The deceased was profusely bleeding due to injury and he died of excessive bleeding as the bike was hit with great speed and impact was fatal.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Police said that the condition of the escaped men is critical. The dog died at the spot in the accident. The accused tried to save but failed to control the bike and hit the dog.
Meanwhile, a youth who sustained multiple injuries after he was attacked by a dog at Minal Residency lodged complaint with Ayodhya Nagar police against owner of the dog on Monday.
The victim Anshul Singh was attacked by a dog when he was on his way to home after tuition classes in the evening. Anshul was riding a bicycle which fell after he was attacked by the dog and sustained severe multiple injuries. Police would register a case against the owner of the dog.
