15,000 landless people to get permanent houses: DDC

Bokaro District Administration is all set to provide 15,000 permanent houses to landless people in the current financial year. The houses will be erected on government land. DDC Ravi Ranjan Mishra asked his officials to get the beneficiaries of PMAY registered anyhow in the next three days.

“We have targeted to provide fifteen thousand housed under Prime Minister Awas Yojna to the landless people in the financial year 2019-20. About 8379 beneficiaries have already been registered and rest of them will be registered within three days. Houses would be constructed on government land,” he added. 

Geo-tagging of about 44 per cent newly constructed houses under PMAY have been completed, he informed.
