A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her friend in northwest Delhi’s Bharat Nagar area. The incident came to limelight on Tuesday after the girl complained of uneasiness following which she was taken to a hospital. Police said during a medical examination, she was found to be pregnant.
According to a police official, after medical examination was conducted on Tuesday and doctors confirmed that the minor is pregnant, the parents of the girl approached police and reported the incident. “In their complaint, the victim’s parents alleged that the accused befriended their daughter who was studying in a girls’ school in Bharat Nagar area. They also alleged that their daughter was raped around six months ago,” said the senior police official.
