A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a cab driver here on February 18. The incident took place when the victim took a lift from a cab driver to reach Delhi from Gurugram’s Iffco Chowk. The accused with his accomplice held the victim’s friends captive and committed the crime. A Zero FIR was lodged by the Delhi Police later the case was registered at the DLF Phase - 2 police station on Saturday.
According to the police, On February 18 the victim along with her friends came to the city to make chapattis at a marriage function. The victim along with her friends later took a lift from Iffco Chowk to Delhi.
“Two persons were already present inside the cab. After some time two more accomplices boarded the cab. Later the accused drove the victim to some isolated place in Delhi and dragged outside the vehicle while his of three aides held the victim’s friends captive.
The culprit then raped the girl,” she alleged in his police complaint. The accused also beat the girl and turned up the music volume so that no one could listen to her screams.
“ After committing the crime, the accused dropped the girl near Chattarpur and fled. The victim narrated the incident to her mother who reported the matter to the Dehli Police,” the police said.
