A 19-year-old girl student committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her residence in Arjun Nagar under Ayodhaya Nagar police station area in the wee hours on Wednesday.

According to the police, the deceased Pramila Prajapati was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.

In the initial investigation it was found that the deceased was under depression as she was wanted to study after class 12 and took admission  in a private college but family was not able to support her studies and due to poor financial condition and frustrated over her condition she took the extreme step.

The reason of the depression found in the investigation was her after she left her studies.

The incident took place at around 5am when deceased’s mother woke up for having water and found deceased hanging. 

The statements of the family members are yet to be recorded and the reason behind the suicide would be investigated.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man was found dead near Samardha culvert under Misrod police station area on Tuesday.

Police said that Ramesh Daware was found dead near Railway tracks. A paper in which Bilkisganj was written was found and mobile phone after which his identity was established. Body was sent for post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
