Two persons got electrocuted after a high tension power supply line broke at a farm in the morning on Wednesday in Gunga; deceased were uncle and nephew working at farm.
Police said that after the two failed to return for long in the afternoon on Wednesday family members started to search and only found the two dead at the farm where they have gone for work.
Incharge of Gunga police Nilesh Awasthi said that the Sonu Lodhi (22) and Radheshyam Lodhi (40) were found dead at the farm they were working.
The incident took place between 9 am to 2 pm as they were found dead after 2 pm while they left for the work at around 9 am. At the spot power supply line was found broken and which killed the two. They have not touched any live wire at the ground.
The family members went to check the two as they failed to return for long and when they reached the farm the two were found in an unconscious state and power supply line was found broken.
Radheshyam was Sonu’s uncle. The two had gone to clear grass.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation, case registered.
