2 held for captivating, raping, trying to sell 25-year-old woman

Nazeerabad police have nabbed two accused for captivating, sexually assaulting and trying to sell 25-year-old woman; victim was held captive for more than two months.

Police have arrested Santosh Gurjar and Ram Singh Gurjar who kidnapped the victim and tried to sell her.

In the initial investigation police found that the 25-year-old victim was abducted in a car by two persons of her village and then confined in a house for past two months and during she was held captive Santosh  raped her several times.

The victim reported the incident to police after she managed to escape from the house she was held captive.

According to SDOP Bairasia Ankit Jaiswal said that the victim started to live with her parents after she left her husband’s house few months ago after the two had a verbal spate. At her parents house she came in contact with one of the accused Santosh Gurjar.

She stated in her complaint that on July 1, accused Santosh Gurjar with Ram Singh Gurjar approached her home in absence of her parents and abducted her and held hostage at Santosh Gurjar’s house  where he sexually assaulted her for two months by threatening her of life.

Few days ago she came to know that accused Santosh is trying to sell her with the help Ram Singh, she escaped and returned to her parent’s house where she reported the atrocity.

Based on her complaint the accused were arrested and were produced in court from where they were taken on police custody. Police have recovered the car they have used to captivate the victim.
