Two youths were injured after four miscreants opened fire at Jawahar Chowk late in the night on Tuesday; victim has sustained bullet injury in his hand.
Sensation prevailed in Jawahar Chowk area after two groups clashed and one of the group members opened fire and attacked with sharp edged weapons.
The injured were identified as Sudhir Dehria and Durga Prasad alias Dev. Sudhir sustained bullet injury in his hand while Durga Prasad was beaten brutally by the miscreants. Victims were rushed to Narmada hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
In his complaint victim stated that they were stopped by accused Umesh Bamnele, Aman Bamnele, Golu Rathore and Ajay Pawar attacked them and opened fire. Police have registered a case under section 307 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was attacked by with sharp-edged weapons over a petty issue at Pansheel Nagar under TT Nagar police station area in the evening on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim Sanjay Mahale was attacked by Ajay Ahire alias Fannu with sharp edged weapon. The injured victim was rushed to a JP hospital and later he was referred to Hamidia hospital and his condition is reportedly stable.
In his complaint the victim stated that his son Ayush Mahale was stopped by the accused and was threatening him of knife which he opposed.
The accused got angered from the intervening of the victim and attacked him with a sharp edged weapon in his stomach.
The accused escaped the spot and is still missing. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
