During the weekly review of complaints received at Jansamvad Kendra on Wednesday, Joint Secretary Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Ramakant Singh reviewed a total of 21 cases and gave necessary guidelines to concerned district and nodal officers of the departments. He also asked the officials not to delay execution of complaints lodged in Jansamvad Kendra.

Singh directed the officials of the District Drinking Water and Sanitation department to prepare a list of the beneficiaries soon to construct toilets in Budhuhatu of Khuntpani Block of West Singhbhum District and Shankarpur Village of Jarmundi Block of Dumka District. While hearing Lalit Kumar Singh’s case resident of Kukraha Village of Sarath Block in Deoghar District that rent of sub health center has not been paid since 15 years and 4 months which is running at Lalit Kumar Singh’ house, the Joint Secretary directed to Nodal Officer of Health Department to immediately pay the rent.

Compensation has not been given since seven years after acquisition of land of Bhola Mahto resident of Basia Village under Balumath Block in Latehar District, Singh given instruction to concerned department to ensure hearing within one week regarding the case. In a case of private holding on public hand pumps by a single person from Mahal Panchayat of Chandakiyari Block in Bokaro District, the Joint Secretary gave instruction to file a FIR against the person who held the hand pump on his premises and bring out the hand pumps outside the boundary. In case of Paddy seeds were made available to farmers in 2013-14 at Rajganj Block in Dhanbad District, but in the Lootipahari and Muraydih Panchayat of this block for failure of crops, Singh directed to pay the compensation of the farmers at the earliest.

No action has been taken by the police after six and half years in case of rape took place on December 21, 2012 under Saria Police station in Goiridih, Singh instructed to the concerned officials to submit the report immediately.  Complaints related to outstanding honorarium, transport item payment, pending salary and pension, transfer of housing, old age pension and others were also reviewed during the meeting.

 AIG Shams Tabrez and several other officers were present at police headquarters during the review recorded in the public dialogue.
