A 25-year-old engineering student died after he was hit by trolley attached with tractor at near Anand Nagar square under Piplani police station area on Friday.
The youth was injured after he was hit by concrete mixing machine attached with tractor in the afternoon and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
The deceased was identified as Sitaram Vanshkaar of Tikamgarh and was pursing engineering from a private engineering college. He met accident after he was on his way to home at Saket Nagar where he used to stay in a rented apartment.
The tractor driver escaped the spot leaving the tractor and is still at large. Police were informed and after the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The police registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC.
Based on the registration number of the tractor accused driver would be searched. Police said that the search for the errant driver has been started. During the investigation police have found that the deceased tried to overtake the tractor and in a bid fell and trolley hit him which proved fatal for him.
The deceased was pursuing engineering and was final year student of TIT College.
Meanwhile, depressed over unemployment and frequent disputes with his wife, a 35 year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Narela Shankari under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Friday.
According to police, the deceased was Arvind Agnibhoj was found hanging by the family members and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police said that on Friday at around11 pm the man committed suicide.
In the initial investigation no suicide note has been found by the police that could help in the revealing the reason of suicide.The deceased lost his job tried to run a food stall but failed and used to have frequent fights with his wife over unemployment as his wife used to work at a call center.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
