3-day selection process held for NSD aspiring artists

The aspiring theatre artists have raced to get admitted in country's best drama school National School of Drama (NSD). The participants gave thier best to prove thier worth before the judges.

Here on Wednesday, it was the last day of the selection process. The three day selection process was held at Hotel Ashoka Lake View and for three days the participants have been presenting thier best. In the workshop, NSD director Suresh Sharma, faculty Dinesh Khanna, faculty Achilash Pillai, Dean Shantanu Das, expert  Jaitley, Yogendra Choubey and MPSD director Alok Chatterjee were present as the judges.

The judges watched minutely each and every detail of the participants. Notably, an audition is being organised for the aspiring students who showcased their acting skills before the faculty members of NSD. Notably, more than 65 students from Bhopal were present to give the auditions. Notably, the auditions are being held for the selection of appropriate candidate for the session 2019-20. The selection committee watched their performance with rapt attention and marked them accordingly. In the first round of the audition the participants were given a written test.

In the next round the participants performed individually over the scripts they prepared themselves.

It is to be noted that the selections are held for 26 seats at NSD and the selections are being held across the country.
