3 wanted criminals in CBI’s net for availing loans on fake docs

Crime branch Bhopal nabbed wanted accused involved in availing vehicle loans using documents of other people and would sell vehicles later on. Three members of the gang were nabbed in the past, nabbed accused was carrying a cash reward of Rs 5000.

Acting on a tip off, regarding wanted miscreant, the crime branch police personnel rushed to Jehangirabad area and nabbed the absconding accused who was identified as Ashraf Khan (31) of Bhadbhada.

Three members of the nexus identified as Niyaz Khan alias Raja, Vinod Rai and Ashfaq were nabbed earlier but Ashraf managed to escape and remained absconding till Monday and was later handed over to MP Nagar police for further investigation.

The nabbed accused work as property dealer and used to dupe victims with the help of other gang members.

Earlier, a complaint was lodged by Santosh Sonkar with the police regarding availing a two wheeler loan by miscreant in his name and has been used by Suraj Patil while he was harassed and threatened by recovery agent of the company. The accused took TVS Jupiter scooter on loan and after some time it was sold to Patil.

Based on the complaint of the victim police registered a case under section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 B of the IPC and tracked the accused but one remained absconding and to nab him a cash reward of Rs 5000 was declared for providing whereabouts of the absconding accused.

The accused used to avail vehicle loan and after using it for few days they would sell the vehicle.
