31-year-old Tibet national electrocuted in Majnu ka Tila

A 31-year-old Tibetan died after being electrocuted at a guest house in Delhi’s Majnu ka Tila on Monday.

The man identified as Dolkar was working as a receptionist with the guest house. He used to stay at nearby Aruna Nagar in Majnu ka Tila area.

According to senior police official, the incident occurred on Saturday night when Dolkar had gone to refill a “cooler” in guest house room number 409.

“While pouring water with bucket in the cooler, Dolkar got in contact with naked wire and was electrocuted. Police was informed by the other staff members in the guest house following which a team was sent to the spot,” said the senior police official.

“He was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” said the senior police official.

“Dolkar was working with the guest house for last two years. A case has been registered against the owner for negligence at Timarpur police station. Further investigation is going on,” the senior police official added.
