32-yr-old electrocuted while repairing electrical fault

A 32-year-old man was electrocuted while trying to repair electrical fault at Mahamai ka Bagh under Aishbagh police station area on Friday.

According to the police the deceased Sunil Sharma was electrocuted and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC and started further investigation. The deceased was electrocuted while working at the terrace of the house.

The deceased came to meet his in-laws two days ago and after power supply got disrupted he went to repair it and got electrocuted.

Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man died after his motorbike hit cattle on the road near Eitkhedi river under Khajuri police station area on August 19 while his friend escaped with injuries.

According to the police two injured men were taken to a hospital after their bike hit cattle on August 19. One of the injured man was declared dead  and was identified as Sunil Adiwasi while other identified as Sanjay escaped with injuries.

Deceased hailed from Betul and used to work as labor and met accident while he was on his way to work along with his friend.

Police said that at the time of the incident the road was deserted and cattle appeared and tried to cross road but stopped and bike hit the cattle. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.

The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The deceased sustained severe injuries while Sanjay escaped with minor injuries. Sunil was undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital and died on Friday.
