Fuelled with an old enmity a 32-year-old man was attacked by three miscreants with a blunt object at Damkheda under Berasia police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim Ramakant Thakur was attacked by three miscreants identified as Jugraj Singh, Ranjeet and Rahul Kushwaha with a spade in his head. The injured victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was reportedly stable.
Police said that the assailants had a fight earlier over some issue and on the day of attack they had a fight over flowing of water and while he was discussing with others the three accused came and attacked the victim in his head and escaped the spot.
Victim was rushed to hospital. He sustained severe injuries in his head.
SHO Berasia SN Pandey said that the waste water from the house of victim is not properly disposed due to which is spreads over road and in front of the house of the accused. The victim has not gained consciousness and has been operated at LBS hospital. The victim is a farmer while accused are labour.
The victim attacked when he was discussing regarding the removal of water the three accused came and attacked him.
Initially the three abused him and when he opposed they started to beat him and later attacked with spade.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 307 and 34 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Search for the absconding accused has been intensified.
