The accused have been identified as Lokesh alias Surya of Najafgarh in Delhi, Neeraj alias Sanju, Pradeep alias Sonu, and Jagbir, all of whom hail from Haryana’s Sonipat district.

According to the police, Inspector Bijender Huda got a tip-off about the movement of the alleged criminals at Sector-40. Soon after information, two teams of the police under the supervision of Inspector Huda  were deputed at Sector-40.

Thereafter, an XUV500 without number plate was traced by the police. They signalled the driver to stop the vehicle but the accused tried to flee from the spot.
