In yet another mishap on Lucknow-Agra Expressway, at least five persons, including four children, were killed and 19 injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned in Bangarmau area of Unnao on Saturday.
As per reports, a bus carrying passengers from Gurgaon to Madhubani was moving at high speed when a tractor emerged from the wrong side near Devkhari village of Bangarmau. The bus driver swerved to avoid collision with the tractor but lost control over the wheel and the bus overturned.
Out of the five dead passengers, four were children and efforts were underway to ascertain their identities.
The injured were rushed to the KGMU Trauma Centre in Lucknow and to district hospital in Unnao.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem and a case was registered against the tractor driver.
