40-year-old woman dies in road mishap

A 40-year-old woman died after her scooter skid near Gupta Colony under Piplani police station area on July 12; she died while undergoing treatment on Sunday. The deceased identified as Binduvati Singh got injured after her scooter skid and was taken to nearby hospital where she died on Sunday.

Police said that the scooter skid in which Binduvati sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment on Sunday. The police was informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The body was sent for the post mortem. After the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old married woman was electrocuted after she came into contact with live wires in her house at Kanha Saiyya under Bilkharia police station area on Sunday. According to police, the deceased, Bimla Singh was electrocuted after she came into contact with live wires and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died during treatment.

Police were informed and on the receipt of the information, a police team reached the spot and started investigation. After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for post-mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC.

Police found that the woman was working at her house while her husband works in Bengaluru. The main power supply line to the electricity meter was broken and deceased came into contact of the wires.
