5 Govt hospitals bag LaQshya Certification

The labour rooms and the maternity operation theatres of five hospitals run by the State Government have bagged 'LaQshya Certification' from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

National Health Mission Director and Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Additional Secretary Manoj Jhalani informed this in a missive to H and FW Secretary Dr Pramod Kumar Meherda.

The labour rooms and maternal OTs of the Capital Hospital and District Headquarters Hospitals (DHHs) of Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Rayagada and Community Health Centre (CHC) of Ghatagaon in Keonjhar have got the ‘LaQshya Certificate’ from the Centre.

The Kalahandi DHH had earlier also bagged the LaQshya Certificate for its labour room and maternity OT.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das and Secretary Dr Meherda have thanked the concerned CDMOs for the achievements.
