A 5-year-old girl  died after the motorbike on which she was riding along with her parents was hit by a speeding loaded auto-rickshaw near Minal Residency  gate no 5 under  Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Thursday.

According to investigating Officer Shyam Mohan Tiwari, the deceased girl was identified as Deepali, a resident of Hathaikheda in Umraoganj of Raisen district.

The incident took place around 10 am when she along with his maternal, her mother Varsha and a boy was on her way to Anand Nagar area in Piplani where grandparents of the decease resides.

Police said that when the bike reached near gate no 5 of Minal Residency their bike was hit by a speeding loading auto rickshaw at a turn and due to the impact of collision, Deepali who was held by her mother lost her grip and fell on the road and sustained head injuries which proved fatal foe her

After the incident maternal uncle Deshraj get hold of the accused driver and informed Dial 100 police. The injured girl qas rushed to Peoples hospital where she was declared brought dead. The police have seized the loading auto and booked the driver under section 304-A of the IPC and arrested the accused.

Meanwhile, a 59-year old man died after his scooter rammed into road divider on Wednesday in Bairagarh. Police said that an injured man was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. The deceased was identified Dayashankar and was on his way to home. The body was sent for the post mortem after preliminary investigation..The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
