64th CPC starts in Uganda from September 22

Speaker of Madhya Pradesh State Assembly Narmada Prasad Pajapati and Principal Secretary of State Assembly SP Singh would participate in 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) at Kampala in Uganda which is scheduled from September 22 to 29, 2019.

The CPC would witness heads of legislative assemblies of different countries.

The main conference theme is ‘Adaption, engagement, and evolution of parliaments in a rapidly changing Commonwealth’.

At the conference climate change, innovation in Parliament, he role of Parliament in facilitating persons with disabilities as electors, candidates and legislators, strategies to deal with Youth Unemployment, Combating rapid urbanisation and rural decline, The Role of Parliament in the doctrine of the Separation of Powers: Enhancing Transparency and Accountability and other important factors would be discussed.
